On the 7th and 8th of May 2024, the War Studies Research Centre of the Netherlands Defence Academy and the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence organised a conference on the law applicable to the use of biometrics by armed forces. This conference, held at CR14 in Tallinn, followed the workshop that took place on the 25th of May 2023 in Amsterdam. The conference brought together around 50 practitioners and academic experts to discuss legal questions arising from the military use of biometrics. This document is intended to serve as a brief report of the conference.
